"Tales from Dickens" by Hallie Ermine Rives

This wonderful illustrated hardback book is titled, "Tales from Dickens" by Hallie Ermine Rives. It is over 100 years old and in fair condition. No jacket. The cover is beautiful and in great condition, but inside is tearing away from the front pages. This particular book was a personal gift from a mother to a daughter for Christmas in 1906. The inside page is inscribed, "To Pearl from Mama, Christmas, 1906". The inside cover contains a personal label that is quite lovely with the name, Pearl Hitchins Kaelin. Inside pages are in excellent condition.

This book would be a great addition to any Victorian book collection. A really nice gift.
