Dark Blue Sodalite Snuff Bottle

This beautiful dark blue stone snuff bottle looks very much like Sodalite. It is very heavy for its size. It measure a little more than 3" tall and has a 1.625" diameter body. The stone has gray streaks in the color that adds to its unique look. I have not seen one of this color and shape before. The metal spoon stopper is attached. The bottle is in excellent condition. It is old, but hard to pinpoint exact age. I am guessing it was made in early 20th Century. This is another great addition to anyone's bottle collection.
