Derby Silver Co. 335 Figural Napkin Ring

This special Chicks on a wishbone antique napkin ring is marked Derby Silver Co. 335. It is electro silver plated circa 1883-86. Although not as rare as some of the other pieces in the collection, it is great to have in a collection and to start a collection.

Derby Silver Co. published in 1883 a catalog of designs. They were founded in 1873 in Birmingham, Connecticut and became a part of International Silver Co. in 1898. They consolidated with Meriden in 1933.
